Gregorio Uribe nació en Bogotá en 1985. Es cantautor, acordeonista y escritor. Se graduó de Berklee College of Music en Boston. Ha interpretado su música, entre otros lugares, en el Carnegie Hall y en los patios del Caribe rural. Ha trabajado con artistas de la talla de Rubén Blades, Carlos Vives y Paquito D’Rivera, así como con los maestros del folclore Carmelo Torres y Martina Camargo. Sus dos primeros álbumes musicales son Pluma y vino (2011) y Cumbia universal (2015). Por su tercer disco, Hombre absurdo (2023), fue nominado a los Latin GRAMMY®, trabajo que mezcla los ritmos del acordeón sabanero con reflexiones existenciales basadas en lecturas de Camus, Dostoevsky y Nietzsche. “El llamado” es su primera novela publicada.

Gregorio Uribe was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1985. He is a singer-songwriter, accordionist and writer. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has performed his music, among other places, at Carnegie Hall and in the backyards of the rural Caribbean. He has worked with artists such as Rubén Blades, Carlos Vives and Paquito D’ Rivera, as well as with folklore masters Carmelo Torres and Martina Camargo. His first two musical albums are Pluma y vino (2011) and Cumbia universal (2015). For his third album, Hombre absurdo (2023), he was nominated for a Latin GRAMMY®, a work that mixes the rhythms of the Sabanero accordion with existential reflections based on readings by Camus, Dostoevsky and Nietzsche. “El llamado” is his first published novel.
